My guy is biracial and I wanna try to help maintain his hair a bit more. It looks like some dreads form on their own, and other sections of his hair don't? What products can/should I get him to help maintain his hair? Does me touching them all the time mess with them? He's always so busy, so his hair is the last on his priority list.

I'm hoping I can do something cute like have him just sit and relax while I do it for him. I just wanna do it the right way 😅. Any help is appreciated!
