PCOS and regular periods??!!

Question

Anyone out there with PCOS and have regular periods? It's been 17 month of trying and any success stories or anyone that can relate could really help me find the light at the end of this tunnel

I have pcos and I don’t have regular periods but after a few fertility test and my confirmation of pcos and ano ovulation I was put on 50mg Clomid we conceived on our second cycle she’s now two years old and I’m currently expecting our second child with out any help from clomid... good luck with everything

Back in May I had an ultrasound that revealed I have cysts on my ovaries. I was told, by my then Dr, that I have PCOS yet I have regular periods and my blood work came back normal.
I am currently with a new Dr and waiting to go back on the 3rd for blood work and ultra sound results. She too said with the cysts she was thinking PCOS but the regular periods aren't common with it. That's why she ordered retesting. I have been TTC for about a year now. It's not an easy ride but with faith, anything is possible. ☺️

I have pcos and it took us 13 months to conceive. I was already on metformin prior to trying to concieve. I was over 300lbs and got down to 240. Just when I was losing hope that it would never happen.. Bam! Pregnant! With the amount of strain of our relationship from all the sex... Sounds weird... We actually concieved by at home insemination. I started tracking my ovulation with ovulation pee sticks and a few days prior to when I know I would ovulate we would inject me with his semen every other day. By the third month of doing this. I have Pcos and have regular periods, however my cycles run from 28-47 days. This app has been a great help in that I can track when I get my period and how long each cycle is. I have the symptoms of pcos including the extra hairs 🤕, and a few others. I haven't conceived but haven't given up trying! Thanks to the opks I know I can get the LH surge but my dr has told me that I might have to go on clomid/femara to get pregnant.

I started metformin in january and have had regular periods and ovulation since February. we just started TTC last month. I've been told hormone irregularities due to thyroid cancer and it's treatments caused cysts("small" and "normal") on my ovaries, but I don't *have* polycystic ovarian syndrome.  at this point I'm just going with it. each and every body is different, different strokes different folks.  I stick to a mostly vegetarian diet(meat twice a week) and go for a 30min walk every day, make sure I'm getting adequate rest and relaxation. just keep going. when it does happen, all of the stress and worry right now will be a speck on your radar, and worth it. good luck to you!

If you have been trying for a year, have you seen a reproductive endocrinologist/fertility specialist? That's my next step but I'm waiting for enough time to pass for insurance to help.
