Divorce + Abuse

For 30 years my mother was terrible abused by father and all of my siblings and I got abused as well. My mother decided enough was enough and chose to get a divorce. My mother is the sweetest woman you will ever meet, she has her faults, but she is so sweet, so caring, and so honest. The divorce keeps dragging on and she's not getting anything she wants out of the divorce. She is having to pay my "father" a lot of money because he demands it amongst other things. She partially feels like she must be doing something wrong and that God is punishing her, but I try and reassure her that it's not the case. But I'm running out of hope myself. I don't know if we are doing something wrong and that's why nothing is going our way or what. My "father" continues to abuse her verbally and has been lying about his assests and several other things, whereas my mother is being completely honest. I just need support from other women. I'm losing hope and so is my mother. Thank you. (:
