Should I go to dinner with this guy?

So I am in a new city doing a training session. And I met this really charming guy. We exchanged numbers but kept it quite professional for a few days. 
Today I'm leaving and I just received his message offering me a ride to the airport and he asked me to dinner, I thought it was just to keep me company before I depart so I said yes.
I told my hubby about it and he is very mad. I don't understand why. So should I still go to dinner with this new guy or should I turn him down?

The fact that you call him charming when you have a husband is alarming. Think about the opposite. Your husband goes on a business trip and meets a charming woman who wants to give him a ride to the airport and have dinner with him.

Thanks guys for your input. As a matter of fact, the dilemma was my husband's. 
He asked me if it's ok and I was like hells no. As he thought I was unreasonable, I thought it'd be good to show what most people would think of the situation.
