got my tubes tied 5 years ago I was just wondering if any one has heard or has gotten pregnant after getting tubes tied

yep it happens. I also heard men still can get a woman pregnant after a vasectomy.  not common but it happens

My mom had her tubes tied when she had me! Of course, that was almost 40 years ago. I think there's still like a 0.01% chance now, but it's done differently than it was 40 years ago.

Yes it can happen.
Doctors here are starting to refuse to do it because there is no paperwork signed by the patients that they understand it can happen - Some doctors are being threatened with legal action over it so they're just not doing it.
