Stomach not going down - 5 months postpartum

Hi ladies

Was looking for some advice and feedback on your postpartum experiences.

Too cut a long story short I didn't have the best labour experience, having an emergency c section - my womb wouldn't contract back and had to have a full womb suture. After this is ended up with sepsis along with womb infections and wound infections.

I have only just been able to exercise due to all my complications and my baby is 20 weeks old. However i still look around 4 months pregnant!

I went to the doctors and he had a feel and said it seems as if my uterus is still out and hasn't gone back in! I have an ultra sound scan on Tuesday. I was just wondering if this has ever happened to anyone and what the possibilities could be that they could find on the scan?
