Help! Who's a single mom in the military?

I need to speak to someone who's a single mom, joined the military to support their child or with a battle custody reason. Please, I have a couple questions for my friend who's in the same boat right now. :(

I'm not a single mom in the military, but having served while my SO was in, we had to have a Family Cate Plan. Basically it's a document that states what happens to the kids when you deploy, or if something happens and you can't get help in taking care of the kids. If you're single and have kids, I know that you need one. Custody battles I don't know, but if she gets custody, she'll definitely need a FCP.

She just needs to sign her over to her parents for now. I know several people that did it. Then when they were done with basic and tech school they got their child back.

I am a single mom with 3 kids in the military and I have never had a issue with custody of my kids.

You can't get full custody if she is joinng now then can fight it later
