Long story short my girlfriend of almost 2 years is coming off birth control. She’s been on it for less than a year and shes been on and off of it. We’ve had unprotected sex multiples times while she was not on it and thankgod nothing happened. We’ve had sex when she was on it and nothing happened either ( obviously ). She has a doctors appointment today and she told me she wants to tell her doctors shes coming off of it because it makes her periods worse and shes very emotional. She said she wants to have a baby so we started TTC in march of this year but honestly i know shes not ready. Im 22 going on 23 and shes turning 22 in february. She works 4 hours a day for about 3-5 days and makes half as much as i do every paycheck she gets. With no financial help besides eachother i know she and i wouldnt be able to raise a kid on our own we dont even have our own place yet. We talked about the same subject matter before and she got upset and assumed that i dont want to have a baby when that is not the case at all. Is there any way i can get her to think about it from a realistic point of view? Im not trying to be negative or anything i want a baby as much as she does but i dont want him or her to grow up poor like i did. Any help is appreciated and negativity will be ignored.
