Ear infection?

Hey mamas! For the last few days my daughter (16 months) has been rubbing her right ear constantly with her hand, or on her shoulder, or grabbing my hand and putting it right on her ear. She isn't acting like it hurts or saying ow. I am wondering if I should get her checked for an ear infection though? Or if she stuck something in there 🙈 or something else crazy! It's just worrying me. Any advice?

It could be from an ear infection but I know babies grab their ears a lot when they are teething... it's most likely teething. I'd take her to the doctor to be sure though!

I'd say take her to the doctor. My son was doing the exact same things but he's six months. Turns out it's from his teething (he's got 6 teeth already). But it's best to get them checked just to make sure

I would just to be safe and to catch fit early if she does have an ear infection before the pain really starts. My niece stuck a bead in her ear once and it was in there for quite a while till they figured it out.

Just wanted to say thanks to you all. We went to the doc and she does have an ear infection. But luckily we caught it early and hopefully she will be feeling better soon!
