Need encouragement..

We've been TTC for over a year now. I was on bc for 6 years before TTC. each month AF shows her ugly face and defeat plagues my thoughts. This month however I've been feeling nauseous off and on for a few weeks. AF showed up, and lasted about 4 days...typical. However, when we dtd last night I started seeing bright red as if it was just starting all over again. I'm still nauseous off and on, and the bright red went away the following morning. Anyone have an idea of what could be going on? I'm scheduled to meet with a fertility specialist in a month or so....just not sure why it's been a year and still nothing.
