Has anyone tried phentermine?

My doctor is considering prescribing it for me...my friend did use it with great results, but I wanted other opinions. It's a diet pill for those who don't know. I planned on using it to help jumpstart weight loss and better eating habits...then slowly taking myself off of it.

I was on it until I found out I was pregnant last week. I lost 38 pounds since December. After baby I'm sure I'll start again. It helped with that constantly hungry thing.

I was on it. Adipex. It worked great till they changed the company (my pharmacy). The first month I lost 20 pounds then month 2 and 3 I lost 15 both times. Here it is regulated so you can be on it for 3 months then off for 6 months.

I weighed in at 185 at the doctor in the morning yesterday, no shoes or anything...i started it right away and am keeping up with my calories since i do work in a very fast paced environment thats very physically demanding...and i just weighed myself now, after a long day at work and lunch just to see...and somehow i weigh 179. My scale said 185 as well before i went into the doctor...so they do match up...but i know its just water weight/me using the restroom/those sort of factors...but its still nice to see the numbers drop. Will continue to update if anyone cares to see!

Thank you ladies! I start this weekend! Im hoping it works out. I did it before and it worked...but i was already small. I'm 185 and 5'3 now. I need to lose roughly 40 atleast. So hopefully this gives me the kick i need.
