Get rid of ringworm!?

I've been using OTC antifungal cream for 2 weeks and it keeps getting bigger. I just started a new job and can't take off work yet for an appointment with the Dr, and it obviously doesn't warrant and ER visit. Does anyone have any home remedies that work well? I've read about tea tree oil and apple cider vinegar, just wondering what experiences others have had.

If it is seriously spreading (I had a case that went from one spot on my wrist to all over my abdomen, upper thighs, and chest seemingly overnight), you NEED to go to the Doc and get oral antibiotics/antifungal meds. I didnt know this, but ringworm can go *internal* and cause damage to internal organs. So...I hope it doesnt spread/reach that point, but please do seek help if it does!

clear nail polish on and around it. and then obviously toss the nail polish

just go to the er if you can't go to doc. if it's spreading, you'll need something stronger.

Make a mixture of filtered water, tea tree oil and a couple of squirts of hydrocortisone cream.  Mix in a small spray bottle and spray 3-4 times a day.  Within a couple of days it will be gone.  Check out my

Have you used Tinactin cream? That's what I used and it worked like a charm! It's mainly used for athlete's foot I believe but can also be used for ringworm. I found that after I showered, it made mine really itchy so I made sure to put Tinactin on my spots after showering.
