Bikini Wax before delivery?

Is there anyone else that has had a bikini wax while pregnant or before delivery? Would you recommend it?
Just curious because I was thinking about it before delivery to keep things nice and near down there since I can't see what going on 😂😂😂. Don't have a significant other to help down there either.

I read recently that they actually recommend no shaving or waxing last 36 weeks. Somehow this actually ups infection rates, I'll see if I can find the article.

They don't advise to have one if you're close to giving birth because it can be very sore afterwards and also the chance of infections is increased slightly

I've been getting regular Brazilians for years, and every 6-8 weeks while prego. I'm 33 weeks and plan on one more before Labor Day. Haven't heard anything about them not being safe or hygienic. I'd say go for it and good luck!

My recommendation is not to have it done for the first time during pregnancy. Everything is much more sensitive down there. I get a Brazilian every 4weeks faithfully for years now and the pain has significantly increased during pregnancy. In fact today I will have one done and I am 30 weeks and then again at 34 weeks pregnancy. Not sure if I'll be up for laying on that hard table and going through the pain when I'm 38 weeks though tbh.

Just think of you don't and ther is a lot down there they may have to shave it for you which I think would be even more uncomfortable
