Do they make you lose weight before starting fertility treatments?

I have my first appointment with fertility specialist in two weeks. I am not obese but technically according to my bmi I am overweight. Not by a lot. Do you think they will make me lose weight before trying Clomid? I haven't had my period since march and I've been trying to lose some weight before my appointment by doing keto.

It depends where you are. In my area of the UK you can't get fertility drugs or referalls if your bmi is 35 or over. So I have lost about 4 stone and now down to bmi of 28. ☺️

Nope I'm about 40lbs overweight and they never made me lose weight.

I am on a hormone based BC and metformin to get my hormones back in order. if all goes well I will start Clomid in January.  mine never said I needed to lose weight in order to take Clomid :) I'm also considered barely overweight.
