Do you flush tampons?

I've been flushing them for as long as I can remember (septic tank) and never experienced any problems, but someone told me you shouldnt flush them. What do you ladies do??

they clog the plumbing. they should be removed, placed into toilet paper and disposed of in the trash

I never flush them , ask any plumber,  they can cause some serious problems and it's an extremely gross mess to clean up .

either way you shouldn't flush them. But with a septic tank its even more important. I wrap tampons or pads in toilet paper, tie away in a nappy bag and throw in the bin.
