Diuretics cause false negative???

So, I’m now 6 days late for AF, and none of my usual symptoms are here. My hubby and I have been trying for 4 months after coming off BC in April. A week after ovulating this month (used OPKs), I felt like AF was coming - cramps, headache, etc...but I also had mega hot flashes. This was wayyyy to early for my usual AF cramps, and now have some nausea (so bad I almost threw up making pork chops for dinner last night)! The hot flashes continue, and all BFN results on hpts. I have been on a diuretic for over 5 years everyday for edema, and have read that they can cause diluted urine, but I spoke to the nurse at my OBs office and she had never heard of such. Anyone have any experience with this?!? It’s really frustrating for me, and my hubby who now thinks it’s all in my head!!
