The "daddy" kink 🙄

I never understood why this is hot to people and saying it's a dominance thing makes it even weirder. I'd only find it attractive to call my partner "daddy" once he's an actual daddy. Like after we have kids lol. My grandma and grandpa had kids and they call eachother "mama" and "dad" but not in a sexual way and I even grew up around that and it's so weird to me that when your partner isn't a father that some people call them "daddy". Idk I just feel like there's other ways to establish dominance. Just my opinion. Wbu guys?
