What's that cute story your family tells everyone about when you were a kid?

I find most families, particularly your parents, have one or two stories they love to tell everyone under the sun about that one incident that happened when you were a baby/child/teen. Some are sweet, some funny, some both.

It's nice to reflect on what memories we share, as a reminder life's not always devoid of happiness when we're down.

I'll start to set the idea with a funny one my mom always told:

When I was a little kid, she came home from work and my dad greeted her at the door. He had make up on (green blush, blue eyeshadow, and the like). She asked "what happened to you?", he went and looked in the mirror. "The 5 year old got me". Apparently my 3 older sisters, and grandfather had let him walk around like that for hours, after a vulnerable livingroom nap earlier that day.

What was a story told about you?

My parents never fail to tell people about how I ran away from home when I was 5 (on Mother's Day, nonetheless) because I wanted to explore the world.

I have no idea why they like this story O___o if I were them, I'd think it was funny, but they seem almost proud of it . . .

One of the many stories my mom likes to tell is of me and my sister I was 6 and she was 2. She saw a 5lb bad of sugar on the counter. So she pulled out the drawers and stair stepped them and knocked the bag of sugar onto the floor. It went everywhere. Being six I knew better... But I still joined her in eating it off the floor my mom still has a picture of us with sugar all over the floor and all over us... It was everywhere. Needless to say we got in trouble. Hahahaha

I was adjusting my bra once when my uncle came in and I said I'm just dancing - six years before he stopped teasing me.

One of my families (foster kid for most of my life) had 4 other girls a little older than me. We used to get into so many fights because we were so close in age. So one time, I punched one of them in the face. When asked what happened, my brilliant response was "I don't know how my fist hit her face!"
