IUD or Mini-pill?

What are the pros & cons of both breastfeeding-friendly options? 
I'd love to hear some first hand experiences because I've heard cramping/bloating with the IUD is miserable, but the mini-pill isn't all that effective...

I used to have severe cramps before the IUD and insanely heavy periods. Mirena helped with both. my cramps were very mild to where you could barely feel them and after a few months my period was gone all together. It was a life changer for me since my period would make me so weak and sick it would greatly affect my life before my IUD

I love the mini pill. I took it for 4 years no problems.  I'm currently taking it again and breastfeeding again 10 months pp no problems.

The iud made my bleed every two weeks for 2.5 weeks and then once for 47 days straight until I passed out at work. 10/10 would not recommend
