How long after stillbirth did you ttc?

I lost my son at 39+5 on 7-17-17. I’m seeing a specialist best month to try to get some extra testing done like genetic testing. We’re ready to ttc. The midwife I saw from my last pregnancy recommended 6 months to wait. But I also know she’s not a high risk specialist with an expertise in PAL. Wondering what other people’s time lines were given and what the specialist might recommend?

I’m so sorry for your loss. Her due month must have been so tough but what a blessing to get pregnant around that time! It must be so scary are they doing anything to watch you closer. Congrats on this pregnancy. Are you getting induced soon? I I don’t know but I feel like my son should have came out before and maybe he would have made it. I only want to go to 37 weeks with a future pregnancy.

I lost mine right after 2 days after you. I am already TTC. Just got my first PP period this month. So we are hoping.

I delivered my daughter 8/3/17 at 35 weeks and my doctor told me I can start trying after my first period only if I am ready

I had a still birth on the 24th of July, only 24 weeks though. I got told to not try again for 6 months too but then again my mother (who also had a still birth) conceived my sister 6-8 weeks after my other sisters birth. She’s now 15 years old and healthy. Do you know when your genetics tests are back? Mine are back in the next 2 weeks and once I get the all clear that it shouldn’t happen again, I’m going for it haha, which would make it about 3-4 months of waiting. Lost baby girl in September 2016 and I got pregnant end of January/beg of feb 2017. January was actually her due month 😐. Currently 36 weeks.
