Has anyone babies had bowel issues? switched from infant enfamil newborn to geber soothe he went to the bathroom smoothly for 4 days then pain and screaming again...

tried prune juice and big ball of stool passed but never became soft..

dr changed him to miralax which caused him to have stomach cramps but allowed stool to soften each day but GI specialist said our baby should never have been given miralax (peds dr will get an earfull from me)

now they want us to try milk of magnesia for a week.. has anyone babies been on this and seen good results??
