2 week old wants to always be held

Hello Mommas,

I am a first time mom and my baby girl was born at 36 weeks premature.

The doctor told us to keep her elevated at 30 to 45 degree angle for at least 30 minutes after eating and have her sleep on an angled surface as well as preemies have a harder time digesting their milk.

She is currently solely on breastmilk. We sometimes bottle feed her expressed milk if I need to run into work etc. She would sleep on her own for the first 10 days, but for the last 5 days she wont sleep unless I am hugging her and will fuss and cry. She has a lot of gas and she has a lot of discomfort that makes her fuss constantly. Being attached together 24/7 admittedly is a little complicated. Is this normal? Am I teaching her a bad habit early on? Should babies at 2 weeks be able to sleep on their own?
