Are you worried you could infect your baby with your STD?

For anyone who is comfortable commenting or voting that has herpes or any STD for that matter. As a woman are you afraid to have children? Or afraid to pass it on to them? If not why?

My sister has herps and she was able to give birth naturally because she wasn't having an outbreak. (her doctor said it's safe as long as no outbreak is current or starts during labor) I wouldn't worry about it unless I was having an outbreak. ? That's second hand info though lol I'm not 100%

I know women who were told that they need to have a c section because of it but it shouldn't affect a baby in utero. You can still give birth to a healthy baby it may just not be vaginally

Perhaps in this case a csection would be an option to prevent anything. I do not have any though, my husband and I were both virgins when we got together.
I don't really know how it works or if it would affect baby in utero. If not, and birthing is the concern, a csection would be a good option.
