How many ounces of formula/breastmilk?

Hi all! 
We went in for my LO's 9 month checkup yesterday and he actually dropped an ounce over the past month and I'm feeling really defeated.
I EBF so I'm not sure how many ounces of milk he is consuming but he has wet/dirty diapers so I assumed he was getting enough. This is on top of 3 meals a day.
My ped suggested pumping and bottle feeding because she is worried about my supply. How many ounces of milk or formula does your 9 month old take a day?

My son only gained 2oz in the last month, but my pediatrician wasn't worried. She said once they get more active, they trim out as they burn lots more energy.
Pumping isn't a efficient as breastfeeding, so you're not going to get as much as your baby will eat. PLUS, pumping exclusively will lower your supply. I do it when I'm away for work for few days. Takes me about a week to get it back up. I'd get a second opinion.

there's nothing wrong with your supply breastfed babies this age are now moving more than ever so their weight gain slows down. Don't worry.

I would check with a lactation consultant. This does not seem like good advice from the ped as to brestfeeding. You will not get 💯 from the pump compared to a feeding which could create a supply issue even if you don’t have one already. Plus if your baby was hungry and not getting enough you should know. 
And I don’t see how loss of one ounce one time creates some big cause for concern unless your baby was close to being underweight before the loss. Babies go thru phases, if he recovers the weight before the next checkup I would think it’s fine. Don’t risk damage to your supply over nothing, or bad advice from a ped that doesn’t really get it, ya know?

I’d guess mine is at about 24 oz a day. He gets 2 bottles at daycare the rest is from the tap.

my daughter just had her 9mo appt Friday. I too am concerned about my supply she has only gained an oz and seems always hungry for solids and usually never has very wet diapers. My ped said at 9mo they still look for babies to get around 24oz and then down to 16oz after a year. she said some calories could be made up with solids though. I've just decided to hopefully boost my supply by going back to nursing every 2 hours and pumping when I can...

5oz formula. 15oz breastmilk. My supply has been low since the beginning. 
My pediatrician said they recommend 20-24oz a day at 9 months.

My sons does anywhere between 20-32 ounces of expressed breastmilk . He usually does about 5- 6 ounce bottles a day, plus 3 meals and 1-2 snacks. He's also on the larger side (98% in weight).
