how often does your formula fed baby poop?

I just switched from EPing to mostly formula feeding and my son had a hard poop the other night that he cried about when it came out. How often should he be pooping now? What can I do to relieve constipation? Thanks

I think it depends on the baby. Mine poops every other day normally. But it shouldn't be painful. You might need to change formulas after talking with your Dr. We dealt with constipation recently and the only things that worked were prune juice and changing his formula to Reguline.

I use Enfamil PREMIUM which is supposed to be the closest thing to breast milk and my son seems to poop 2-4 times
