1st cycle of clomid big fat fail

Sharee • PCOS, Endometriosis, hyperhomocysteinemia. 1 ectopic, 2 miscarriages 3 years ttc and praying for our rainbow baby

went to see my RE for the first time on Monday (I scheduled this apt myself since my OB wasn't going to monitor me) & I'm very happy with the doctor I have. But sadly this month is a no go for us. I only have 1 tube on my right side and I had 3 follicles on my left ovary and none on my right. he told us not to worry about trying this month and to call on day 1 on my period to schedule an ultrasound for day 14 or 15. He also said if next month I ovulate on my left side again we will go right to IVF. I kind of just want to go to IVF next month because I'm tired of being patient honestly. I've had 1 ectopic a little over a year ago and 2 miscarriages. the 2 miscarriages were results of me ovulating on my right side but I only did after almost a year apart from each other so I basically only ovulate on my good side once a year. So IUI isn't an option for us since my remaining tube just wants to be lazy. 3 years of heartbreak has taken it's toll and I'm just ready to start IVF knowing it's our last option. Anyone have any advice with their IVF experiences or what worked best for them? I know everyone is different but hearing positive stories may help calm my anxious mind down.
