Cosleeping to crib?

Question

Has anyone gone from cosleeping with baby in parents bed to moving baby to their own crib? My son is 6 months and still sleeps with me. For the most part he sleeps all night with occasional comfort of the boob. I put him to sleep by nursing him for all his naps as well as night time. I know bad habit but now i would like some advice because I'm scared of how am I going to put him to sleep once we stop nursing at 1 years old.

from 2-6 months i basically got no sleep. i refused to co sleep so i just held her. But at 6 months we moved to her room. I did cry it out. I nursed her. she fell asleep, i put her down and she woke up crying a second later as usual. i gave her 10 min, thwn went and calmed her down. put her down, gave her 5 min, and she was asleep. Night two i let hwr cry for 5 min and she was asleep.  At 10 months she is sleeping all night and I can put her to bed awake and she can get herself to sleep.

I'm wondering the same thing....People are quick to judge when you cosleeper but I think mom's should do what works best for them and their baby. My 17 month old is in bed with us and I just had a baby 5 weeks ago. Im trying to have the new baby sleep in her cosleeper but she won't sleep as well in it. The longest is maybe a hour or two and then she wants to breastfeed and then will fall right back to sleep in my bed with me. I'm so exhausted that I'll fall asleep and she'll spend the night in the bed. I'd like her to sleep in the cosleeper and eventually the crib but not sure how to do it.
