Do I stand a chance?

I am 41 years old and ttc for almost two months.

My doctor prescribed Clomid, which I used for two months. The second time around she doubled the dosage.

This resulted in the thinning of my uterus lining, so she prescribed

Estro-pause.

I am now not so sure if these medications are correct, since the Estro-pause also suppresses Ovulation.

Do I get a second opinion, cause I hate taking all these tablets and the side effects scare me a little.

Did anyone experience the same as me and do I have a chance of falling pregnant?
