Do you bleed at night?

Question

So I wear tampons, and I barely bleed at night. Like, I pull my tampon out and one corner of it is tinted a little red. And then during day sometimes I bleed through my tampon, so it's not like I have a light flow. 
Is this anyone else or just me? Maybe it's because I'm lying down while sleeping, or does that not make a difference? Sorry I'm kinda new at the period thing lol

I've always chalked this up to gravity. Sometimes when you get up you feel a "whoosh" and then it might be heavier earlier in the morning.

I always sleep with a pad but as soon as I stand up it’s a water fall and I rush to the bathroom quick then go lay down again
