How much is your NB eating?

For the formula eating baby’s, how much is your newborn eating? My baby is 2 weeks old and is drinking 2oz & seems like she’s wanting more now. I just don’t wanna over feed her?!

Feed your baby if she's hungry!! They're doing a lot of growing right now!

Just increase gradually like half an oz at a time. My son was between 2 -3 oz around that time. He's 6 weeks now and eats 4 oz every 3 hours. The dr said as long as he's not throwing up or spitting up large amounts I'm not over feeding.

At 2 weeks newborn, there's no such thing as overfeeding, I would nurse mine up to 15 times a day, babies need the nutrients to grow and don't worry about obesity, feed on and don't worry about ounces

My baby eats almost every hour and she’s 11 days old. You can’t overfeed a newborn.

my daughter use to eat anywhere from 2-2.5 oz every 2 hours till she was about 6 weeks. Then started uping her a half oz at a time. The "rule of thumb" is 2.5 oz of formula per pound of baby. So a 6lb baby would need 15 oz essentially. Some do eat more though.
