soooo. my baby boy is 5 months old, and 16 pounds. we've had him in an infant carrier seat, but the max is 22 pounds. so he's close to growing out of it and I know he's way too young for forward facing. we have a seat that was gifted to us from my SIL, which was never used. it's the hybrid LX seat, but everything I'm seeing, it can't be used rear facing, it's practically a forward facing booster seat. so what do we get in the mean time? do we go to a convertible car seat? if so, any suggestions? how long do we stay in that seat before the booster seat? ugh, sorry I'm a FTM and honestly have no clue about this.
