HSG Test....?!

I'm having a HSG test done today!

What should I expect?.. Does it hurt?!..

My doctor suggested this to me today, glad to see positive results!

This was what my doctor advised me to do and I was pain free:
Take 800 mg of Ibuprofen 1 hour before exam.
He also prescribed valium and percocet to take 20 mins before the exam, but I  believe the Ibuprofen really worked because it was pain free!

I had mine done on 4/3/15 and it wasn't bad at all! Since I didn't have any blockage or anything, it went pretty fast/smooth! It was a little uncomfortably, just like your pep smear and you get AF like cramps when they put the catheter/dye but other than that it was very easy! My RE prescribed me antibiotics and asked me to take advil an hour before the procedure! Nothing to worry about! I has mine sone on CD 10 and I ovulated CD 12. I'm 4 days late which never happened to me. I have been TTC for 6 months now and too scared to take my test soon! Hopefully by tonight or tomorrow I will find out if the HSG cleared the "cobwebs" and if we were successful this cycle or not! GL to you and 👶✨✨✨

I had a HyCoSy which is basically the same thing, sorry to say it but it was very very painful for me. But on a good note I conceived a week later after ttc for 2 years! X
