Why are people so offended by joint face book accounts?

When me and my husband got married we decided to join our accounts. We didn't think anything of it at all. We just figured we were a family. He never uses his at all anyways, so we just joined ours. I constantly see articles about couple who join Facebook accounts are Insecure and not really happy. It honestly bothers me 😕 I feel like that's not true. We never thought about that aspect of it all. We are happy. I mean we aren't perfect but it wasn't about trust AT ALL like really. I saw another Facebook meme today that said " o cute you share TV accounts, which one cheated" 😕 ummmm neither one of us.... I then googled it just to see why people hated it so much. I found loads of forums where people actually were venting about couples who do this. Saying how annoying we are and it screams lack of trust! Ugh! Now I feel stupid that we did it. I just needed to vent. I'm pregnant and emotional as it is. I dont know why everyone hates on it. Why is it such a bother to everyone? We just wanted to be share an account...I don't get it
