I caught hubby texting a woman flirting saying that he would be her "side dude". Divorce or not divorce?

I would be very angry but only you fully know your husband.  was he looking for attention?  was he serious about pursuing?  ect. Nothing would justify it. But people make mistakes and bad judgement calls. was this the 1st time?  Because more than once id leave. once is a mistake, twice is a choice, more is habit. whats his excuse? you have alot to consider before making that choice depending on how much you value your marriage and how you feel about him from now on.

That shows a lack of commitment and respect to me. I'd leave in a heartbeat, but that's just my opinion.

I went through the same thing with my husband for 5 years, and for the longest he said he would stop but he never did. So in the end I felt like I wasted 5 years of my life trying so hard to change him.. when I left It felt like a breath of fresh air cuz I couldn't trust him I was constantly checking his phone social media etc I finally realized that's not how a relationship should be.

I feel people need to talk to each other before they just automatically think divorce is the answer. There may be a reason he's looking elsewhere. People cheat or start to cheat because they're not getting something/or stopped getting something that they needed in the relationship. If you love him actually take the time to find out what that is. Just because he's starting to look elsewhere doesn't mean he's officially done anything yet.

Don’t think that you have to automatically divorce him but first sit down and have a conversation with him. To understand where he’s coming from and why he’s acting like this. I hope everything goes well and good luck!
