ovarian cysts while pregnant?

how many of you mommies or mommies to be have had ovarian cysts while you were pregnant? I found out today I have a 5.5 cm cyst on my ovary that could pop at any time and knock my ovary over. I am 8 weeks 3 days today and im terrified it could affect my pregnancy. any advice will be appreciated!

I do. I was told by my perinatal doc that every woman that gets pregnant has a cyst on their ovary — which is left from the egg releasing. More times than not we don’t feel them or even know they’re there. Keep checking in with your doc, good luck!

I just had an US at 6w6d and my doctor found a cyst. She wants to see me in a week to find out if it's growing. She said the baby is perfectly fine, and she's not worried about the pregnancy. She just wants to ensure there are no problems with the cyst. I'm glad she is having me come in again next week as a precautionary measure. Talk to your doctor about it and good luck! Praying for healthy, full-term babies!

Same here. 2cm hemorrhagic ovarian cyst. Nothing to do but monitor it in about 6-8 weeks. But, oh my, it caused some MAJOR pain in the beginning of my pregnancy, during weeks 3-4 - I went to the ER where they found/informed me about the cyst in my left ovary. I thought I was miscarrying again. But thank God, baby is now 7w5d and growing :)

I was just told that I have a cyst on my right ovary and that was why I was feeling cramping. They also made it clear that cysts can come and go throughout a cycle and pregnancy, And that it should dissolve. I'm hoping it dissolves instead of pops. 😕😕

I get them too and I also find  when  pregnant. When I actually go to see a dr. I was fine i decided to have c section . birth n to remove them it's so much easier get everything done. better than the pain of birth vaginal and go back to surgically removed  later. on the last  cyst I had was bigger than a softball n my Dr removed my left ovaries and my panics. in July 5 now I'm 7 weeks pregnant. hopfuly  this give you some comfort
