That’s a canker sore. You can put campho-phenique on it, or avoid sugar and it’ll go away on its own in a few days.

I get these all the time from my retainer, annoying but you don't really have to do anything, they go away after 2-3 days

Canker sore!  They're horrible.  I used to get them when I was a teen.  You can get something to numb it for the pain and they usually clear up on their own.

It's definitely a canker sore. You may be stressed or somehow cut the inside of your mouth. I know they hurt so they have medicines to numb them that'll be your best friend! They go away within a week or so.
