Do you think getting pregnant with number 2 when your first is only 5 months old is too soon?

My baby will be turning 5 months old. I am so ready for number two. Did you get pregnant before your baby was 5 months? If so how did it go. I know it won’t be particularly easy but looking for opinions. 😁

My baby girl was 4 months when I got pregnant. So now he is 5 weeks old and she is 14 months. I love it and planned it..I wish I got pregnant sooner. My sister and I are Irish twins and I wanted them to be.

I don't think that's very healthy for your body. You're still in recovery even though it may not feel like it.

I remember going through a phase when my two year old was about 5 months of thinking how nice it would be to have another. Then she grew some more started crawling, getting into everything, became way more full on and I thought yeah maybe not. I have friends with a small age gap and they struggle so much I know some people don't but I personally couldn't put myself through that. although saying that I'm about to have twins 🤣 so I'll have two the same ago.

I would definitely say wait, but that’s just my stand point on it. I found out i was pregnant again with baby #2 when my son was 8 months old. I was so upset that most of my pregnancy I wasn’t happy and wished I wasn’t pregnant. I’m due just about any day now and I couldn’t be more thrilled at this point! I will say it’s hard on you at times, and it’s extremely exhausting trying to chase around a 1 year old all day. But if that’s what you want to do then go for it.

I found out when my daughter was around 4mo old I was pregnant again. There's pros and cons. Definitely didn't plan it, was hoping to hold off alittle longer. Pro: it's nice that she's not overly mobile so I can sit down when the nausea hits hard. Con: when she is overly irritable or fighting sleep and im just irritated from hormones and being tired = both of us end up crying out of frustration.
