I'm 3 weeks pp from my second csection, and half of my incision still has steri strips over it. They didn't use them with my first csection, and never told me what to do with them before leaving the hospital ( I didn't even know they were there because it hurt too bad to look down there lol) Anyway, a few days after leaving the hospital, I called them to find out if I needed to take them off, and was told to leave them on till they peel off on their own and that I can trim the parts that are coming off. Now, 3 weeks later, half is still very stuck, but pulls at my skin. Do they need to stay on? It doesn't seem sanitary to keep them on this long...
