I'm curious 'cause I call everyone on this app dude and get a lot of people that are offended for some reason

I know why people get offended, I'm highly educated on the subject- but I personally don't think it's a big deal, because I live in California where almost everyone says dude when addressing any type of group of people. If it offends someone I won't do it again, but if someone acts aggressively angry without letting me know the first time it offended them then they're causing a problem, too.
