How do you guys make friends ?

I'm at my first semester of university and it just sucks so bad . Everyone in my class is either a student that lives in the dorms or an older adult that has kids my age . I don't live on campus and I just feel alone watching everyone else live their life so happy and then there's me alone .

Join clubs and organizations! It's really helpful and you'll make great friends by doing something you're interested in

That's the same with me! I don't live on campus like the rest of the people my age and I don't know anyone since I moved 2 hours away to go to school. It's a little hard at first, might suck feeling alone because you see everyone else with friends. But sometimes the alone time is good for you. I only recently started talking to this group of girls that I have 2 classes with! Took about a month but I'm slowly getting there. No matter how awkward and how bad my social anxiety can get!

I definitely feel you because I'm in the same boat, but just reach out! There will be some awkward encounters, but soon enough you'll find someone to be friends with! Maybe not a best friend, but at least someone to talk to occasionally
