Travis texted me last night and asked me out, he said "Do you want to try us or do you not, I don't mind". My family think it's probably not so good to have a boyfriend at 13 and I know I'll probably get distracted with my studies and my grades will go down. I told him that I liked him and he also said how he had a thing for me himself... I explained how it would probably become really awkward between us at school and everything if we went out and that friendships tend to last longer than relationships. He said that he completely understands and agrees that friendships are great, he says if I need him he'll be there for me and we eventually ended the conversation. I've now changed my mind and I do want to go out with him, the thing is I think it's best to stick to my word and not mess him about. Can anyone help me?
