Baby is positioned ridiculously low down.. is this normal?

I’m 18 weeks and 1 day pregnant with my baby girl. I always thought that during pregnancy as the baby got bigger it would move upwards a bit or something so they’re more central in your stomach... but my little one is like ridiculously low down in my belly. Like below my pant line! I can feel her moving around and sometimes can see where she’s laying as I’m quite thin... the movements are always right on my bikini line more or less. 
Is it normal for my little one to be positioned this low down? It feels like she’s not even in my belly and like she’s hanging around near my vagina more than anything lol. I’ve had two ultrasound scans so far and neither of them said anything about her being too low down or anything and while they were scanning me they were picking up her position higher than I can normally feel her.  
Sorry in advance if this is a stupid question! Helpful advice would be much appreciated.

I am 22+ weeks pregnant and my baby is still laying low as well. I feel all the kicks close to my v area. Only few times that I will feel it a little above the west especially when am lying down.

Currently 27 weeks and my little man spends 99% of his time extremely low. My bump is super low as well people always comment on how weird it is that I'm not carrying higher. Apparently it's normal though 🤷🏽‍♀️

I don't think its an issue, and maybe it is actually moving around but that is where you are most sensitive to feeling it move right now? Not sure, but my baby boy likes the same area! Usually when I feel him moving around that's where it is. Only a couple of stray movements outside that area. But I really wonder if that's just where I am feeling it because maybe its a thinner area or something haha. Good luck!

Yes my son loves to snuggle and put his head down in my pelvic area. He's been down there from the beginning until now. Made it kind of difficult for the ultrasound tech because he is not interested in moving anywhere else 😂

im 33 weeks an my baby never went up he has always been down. head down body down I'm hoping he doesn't come up now!

I am exactly 18 weeks 1 day and I kept thinking the same! I feel the movement but it’s very low! I’m so relieved that I’m not the only one.

two out of three kids have been low and I hate it. one was so low she pinched a nerve made downstairs dead I mean no action no sensations NOTHING lol this one is low but not as low as the other one was. I think it's odd how low these kids are but my first was high in the ribs

Totally normal. I'm 25 weeks today and baby is *just* finally kicking higher around the belly button. Sometimes they just get comfy.

For as far as I know it's normal! My babe is the same way, they'll move around a lot until they're too big to move around lol. With my last sometimes she'd be up by my ribs and other times I'd feel her really low. My new baby likes chilling really low too.
