Right kidney pain?

Question

I’ve been reading some things about this being normal since I’m almost 26 weeks and it’s probably just my ligaments stretching out but I wanted to check and see if any other mommas have experienced some sort of pain around their right kidney during 2nd trimester? I have a doctors appointment Friday and when I called to ask them about it they didn’t seem too concerned because I have a slender frame according to them.

If the pain goes away, it's probably ligament pain. Sometimes baby could be laying on a nerve as well, like if you experience the pain on the side you're laying on. If it hasn't gone away and its pretty consistent, or hurts when you pee, i would be a little more concerned.

I have the same problem. My best friend is a labor& delivery nurse and she told me to call and let my doctor know that I’m getting that pain, but my doctor said the same thing. Had an appointment with my chiropractor today and my back feels much better, still tight but not painful like it was.

I've been into hospital so many times and it's only after seeing them this last time we have realised he's back to back! He's making me uncomfortable to the stage where we thought it was kidney stones! Don't worry and look at exercises on YouTube how to turn a posterior baby really helped me!  This might be your solution, unfortunately you might have to keep repeating the exercises however you'll get the relief you need. X
