I've been on three different kinds in the past and stopped for other medical reasons. The last one I had was nuva ring and I loved it. I'm prone to bv so it was great being in control of when I had my period. It also kept me from gaining more weight even though I couldn't seem to loose it. The thought of an IUD makes me nervous since I've heard to many horror stories from friends. I also don't like the idea of the bar in the arm, too many horror stories as well. Besides what is here what are some other types of BC? I recently heard about the patch so it's gotten me curious as to what are all the options. I've got an OB appointment in a couple weeks and want to go in prepared.
