When my first was 2 weeks old we had to take a 7 hour car trip for my grandfathers funeral and it all turned out fine. Stressful at times but he slept most of the time and we’d pull over to nurse as often as needed. On a plane you’ll be able to hold and comfort him easily. I think if you’re comfortable taking a long trip you should but if it’ll make you anxious then skip it. Those first few weeks of having a newborn are intense with emotions so it’s all up to you. Hope you have a great experience either way you decide!

Wash hands a lot if you do, they are so dirty and the air things above your head never get cleaned. My little one got so sick after a flight, my doc told me afterwards not to if I could help it.

The air port my grandpa works at recommends that baby be two weeks old so, if you can and are willing it should be fine. 😊
