trust and forgiveness

Ladies, how do you go about forgiving and re-trusting your man when he does something disrespectful to you and your relationship? im not talking about cheating or anything like that, but lets say, he went and did something youve voiced youre uncomfortable about and in the process talked badly about you just because he was mad? // edit1: i never "dictate" what he does. i voiced what i was uncomfortable with and just expected respect.
