Company Asking for Proof from Doc that I'm Pregnant
When I got past my 1st trimester, I went to my tanning bed where I spray tan and tried to close my account. I was told that I could freeze my account throughout the pregnancy so instead of canceling all together, I froze the account.
Now 3 months later, SURPRISE! They charged me a new month. I called them and was told that I have to provide proof from my doctor that I'm actually pregnant in order to cancel. And there will be no refund even though I physically cannot use the service. Plus I am contractually obligated to pay fees for "early termination."
This feels like a violation of my privacy and WTH, why does my doctor have to get involved!?!? This seems majorly icky and like way too much!
Has anything like this happened to anyone else???
PS this is the At The Beach company for anyone else who has also been told they can freeze their account through your pregnancy.
