So upset at doctor LONG post

JR • Little man born 5/28/2015. 4 losses (8/2016, 11/2018, 3/2019, 6/2019). Little lady born 4/18/2020
I have to get this off my chest. I'm very stressed about this.
I went for my 36 week check up last night. It was the first time I would be doing a cervical check since 10 weeks. I knew they'd take cultures and draw blood.
I got there and the wait to see the doctor was over an hour. I was called back and told to undress from the waist down (not easy at 36 weeks pregnant). I barely finished taking my pants off and the nurse was in to weigh me and take my blood pressure. When she took my BP she did it with a small cuff (i need a large) and it was high. I told her before it would probably be high after trying to get my pants off. She told me to rest and she would be back. Well, they disappeared and I don't even know how long I was there.
Then the doctor came in and did the cervical check. For one, it was really uncomfortable. He also berated me for gaining weight (I am overweight to begin with so I get it but this one doctor makes me feel awful). He also says he wants to do an NST but is not telling me why.
So they come and take my pressure again and it's high. Now they want to send me to the hospital for monitoring but first they have to take blood.
So the same nurse tries to take blood. She at first can't find a vein. She actually sticks the needle in the back of my hand. Gets half a vial of blood and it stops. She then wiggles the needle under my skin trying to tap the vein. She finally gives up and tries the other arm. Somewhat success.
I then get sent to the hospital for 4 hours of monitoring. Blood is fine. Urine is fine. Blood pressure is fine.
So here's my thing: is this product of an inept nurse? Am I just overreacting? I feel like I got sent to the hospital because they all wanted to go home.
