Depends on the tea. I definitely wouldn't put milk or cream in hot green tea but I've had Thai iced tea with it before. 🇬🇧 Black tea = milk (never cream, unless it's a soy cream in our house) and maybe 1 sugar. We don't have dairy in our house so my husband puts soy cream in his tea, whereas I put any milk substitute because I'm not as picky.

I like it better with just water and honey (as natural as possible). But I love my bubble cafe teas (they all have milk). Both are great. I've heard milk degrades the helpful stuff on the natural teas but the studies aren't 100% conclusive. I'm gonna find out for myself one day, so that's the only reason I'm iffy about the milk if you want all the benefits of tea.

Milk only belongs in what I can only describe as British Tea. Fruit teas/herb teas/mint teas etc. etc. should NEVER have milk in them.

I never add anything to my tea. I take it without creamer or sugar. Occasionally I will drink a chai tea latte or a plantation iced tea (iced tea with pineapple juice) or something along those lines.

Depends on the tea, Black and green- I add milk or creamer. Herbal and rooibos- plan.
