We lost our little one

Breanna

I went to the hospital yesterday for a check up because I had been spotting for 3 days. After some testing and an exterior ultrasound where I saw nothing and no flutter of a heartbeat I knew.

I was sent for a vaginal ultrasound and she would not show me the screen, but she was wearing glasses and I saw the reflection in her lenses... no heartbeat on the screen.

The doctor left me with the news I was in the beginning stages of a miscarriage. I would have been approximately 10.5 weeks. I have my follow up appointment tomorrow.

This is mother Nature taking its course, there was something wrong and my body is doing what it is meant to do. Our time will come for a baby, it just wasn't our turn. My mother suffered many miscarriages and I learned a lot about them through her experiences. I am more understanding of the situation, My husband is having a very hard time with this, he is at the "why us" stage and it's hard for him to comprehend how common this is. please pray for our healing.

How long did anyone else's miscarriages take naturally to occur? Would you prefer a D&C;?

Thank you and good luck ladies.
